IREVA PRIVACY POLICY
Adopted by IREVA 08/17/08
- IREVA members are members of USAV. Members should be aware of the USAV privacy policy on the USAV website. See attached. The key statement is “… USA Volleyball will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent.”
- The USAV / IREVA membership application process includes an opportunity to opt-in or opt-out of USAV communications.
- IREVA’s privacy policy is based in large part on the privacy policy of USAV.
- IREVA does not disclose members’ names or contact information to outside parties without consent. This includes general advertising or marketing, USAV or IREVA sponsors, or promotion of volleyball events. [See IREVA’s advertising and sponsorship policy for related information.]
- Members who agree to be IREVA Officers, Club Directors, Team Representatives or Tournament Directors are inherently agreeing to a public role. Their contact information will potentially be made available on the IREVA website and in IREVA publications. Their contact information may be made available to outside parties in relation to promotion of volleyball events and information of potential interest to the members.
- IREVA may from time-to-time use the email function within the member registration system to notify all or selected groups of members about volleyball-related information of potential interest. Members are responsible for maintaining their personal information in the on-line registration system, including a valid email address. IREVA assumes that the email address used for membership registration is appropriate for use in contacting members.
- IREVA officers may from time-to-time utilize member information for IREVA management and administrative purposes.
