TEAM SCOREKEEPING AND REFEREEING REQUIREMENTS
After January 31st - in order to participate in an IREVA-sanctioned tournament, each team must provide a certified scorekeeper and a certified second referee.
Prior to January 31st – in order to participate in an IREVA-sanctioned tournament, each team must provide a “capable” scorekeeper and second referee.
SCOREKEEPING AND REFEREEING CERTIFICATION
FELLOWSHIP EVENTS AND CLINICS - For Junior players, it is required that certification be obtained by participation in either Fellowship Events or Clinics. These events provide opportunities for clinics, tests, and for Fellowship Events, practice of the knowledge obtained. For Adult players, participation at Fellowship Events and Clinics is encouraged, but not required, for scorer certification and required for R2 certification. Paul Putman is again coordinating the scheduling of Fellowship Events and Clinics among JO clubs to ensure distribution throughout the Region as needed by the members. See NEWS page and CALENDAR. Region sponsored Fellowships and Clinics must be open to all members, subject to space limitations. Adult clubs should see the event calendar for planned or potential events for adults.
DETAILS – Specific policies and procedures for certification of Scorekeepers, First Referees, Second Referees, and conduct of Fellowship Events, are found at the links below.
