The IREVA High Performance [HP] program is part of USAV’s “Olympic Pipeline”, designed to identify and train players who have the potential to help advance the sport of volleyball in the US. See the USAV website for more information:

USAV holds National HP Tryouts around the country to select participants for several levels and age groups for USAV National HP Summer Camps. These are held at various colleges around the country throughout the summer, for both boys and girls.
IREVA holds Regional HP Tryouts to select participants for Regional HP Summer Camps; at several age groups and may choose to participate in travel team/s in order to participate in the USAV National HP Championship Tournament. At this time, these IREVA programs are only available for girls; due to limited resources and limited boys’ membership numbers.
All girls are encouraged to participate in both the USAV (National) and IREVA (Regional) tryouts, if nothing else but for the experience of the competition, playing with new players, and having exposure to new coaches assessing your skills. Non-USAV members are welcome to all HP events, but must become members in order to participate. Players who are not selected for these HP events, or who are unable to participate, are encouraged to participate in other camps (see related page on the IREVA website).

USAV has posted the boys and girls High Performance program tryouts schedule and related information for 2011:

BOYS
January 29 - Buffalo, NY - Buffalo Niagara Court Center 3-6pm
January 30 - Huntingdon, PA Juniata College, Kennedy Center 10am-1pm
GIRLS
March 11- Peekskill, NY - Downstate Athletic Center 5-8pm
March 18 - Saratoga Springs, NY – Saratoga Recreation Center 5-9 pm
All National tryout registrations should be done through the USAV Website
The deadline for pre-registration for the March 18 tryouts in Saratoga Springs is 6 AM on March 16.
Pre-registration online is $65;
Walk-up registration is $100 - plus membership fee, if applicable.

| IREVA Regional HP Tryouts |
Sunday March 13 – SUNY-IT, Utica, NY
11:00AM – 3:00PM – Juniors
3PM – 7PM – Youth, Select and Future Select
Cost: Pre-register- $40 – On-site $55 plus membership fee, if applicable
Must pre-register by March 11th by midnight to get pre-register price.
Friday March 18- Saratoga Springs, NY – Saratoga Recreation Center
5:00 PM-9:00 PM – All ages
Cost: Pre-register -$20 – On-site- $35
(but also must sign up for National tryout- see above)
Must pre-register by March 16th by Midnight to get pre-register price.
This tryout will be run in conjunction with the Great Nor’Easter Tournament and National USAV HP tryouts.
PLAYERS AT THIS TRYOUT MUST SIGN UP FOR THE USAV NATIONAL TRYOUTS & THE IREVA REGIONAL TRYOUT.
Sunday March 20 – SUNY Potsdam, Potsdam, NY
Times: 12:00PM – 4:00PM
Cost: Pre-register - $40 – On-site - $45- plus membership fee, if applicable
Must pre-register by March 18th at Midnight to get pre-register price.
Friday April 8 – World Volleyball Training Center, Huguenot, NY
Times: 5:00PM – 9:00 PM
Cost: Pre-register - $40 –On-site - $55- plus membership fee, if applicable
Must pre-register by April 6th at Midnight to get pre-register price.
This tryout will be run in coordination with the IREVA Girls Regional Championship Tournament.
*All times include 1 hour for registration and 3 hours of on-court testing and tryout.
**Athletes must participate in a minimum of one tryout to be considered for IREVA HP camp, but may participate in as many as they wish.
